Becky L DeGreeff

Dr. Becky L. DeGreeff completed her PhD in Communication Studies at North Dakota State University in 2010. She has taught a variety of Communication courses as an Assistant Professor at Upper Iowa University, an Assistant and Associate Professor at Kansas State University Polytechnic Campus, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Her scholarly research interest includes interpersonal and family communication, spiritual communication, and autoethnography. Outside of academia she is a wife, mother, and E-RYT 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She loves spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family.

Description

Business and Professional Communication is a course which provides students the opportunity to develop skills and understandings useful in the career environment. A variety of communication situations may be analyzed, including problem solving; discussion groups; organizational networks; interviewing; and conference planning and speaking. This course emphasizes the theory and practice of communication as it relates particularly to business and professional settings.
