Biography

Elizabeth Hunt is a Professor and Director of Character in Leadership at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. Dr. Hunt holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MA in Mass Communication from NDSU, and a BA in English and History-Political Science from the University of Jamestown. Her research interests include sensemaking, organizational change and crisis communication, leadership communication, organizational culture and climate, servant leadership, and values and character education.

Description

Seeks to expose students to the various types of nonverbal communications, including body movement, facial expressions, eye behavior, touch, use of space and color, vocalizations, and smell. Students will be exposed to current research in nonverbal communication and will examine cultural and social influences on nonverbal communication. Offered: Fall, even years
