Description
This course will present an overview of several important areas of the computer field (e.g. data representation and storage, networking, operating systems, machine architecture, logic, functions and algorithms) while seeking to develop a practical, realistic understanding of the field and prepare studetns for future courses. Ethical and legal aspects of areas such as Internet security, software engineering, and database technology are also introduced in order to enable students to be responsible users of technology. Fall
