Description

The course includes theory and practice in the collection of subjective and objective health-related data through the physical assessment and interview, using classmates for practice. Theory and supervised practice guide the student in recognizing normal and abnormal physiological states and understand their significance. In addition, the student will be able to use the findings to formulate a therapeutic plan of care. Prerequisites: Must be accepted into nursing major, Biol 208; Biol 216; Nrsg 205; Soc 101 OR Soc 230; Psyc 203. Co-requisite: Biol 209, Nrsg 210. Offered: Spring
