Description

This course focuses on nursing care of children, adults and families experiencing multiple problems or stiriving to maintain or regain optimal health within the context of a variety of cultures. The physical systems covered are the cardiovascular and neurological. Selected nursing care situations require the student to synthesize knowledge from previous nursing courses, supportive courses and evidence-based scholarly materials while using the nursing process as a framework to provide nursing care. Learning takes place in a variety of settings: classroom, college laboratory, Sanford Health. Prerequisite: NRSG 206; NRSG 210; NRSG 331; NRSG 332; NRSG 333; NRSG 334.
