Description
This is the first of four full-time clinical experiences (Practicums PT 881, 882, 883, and Internship PT 884) during which students integrate the knowledge and skills learned in teh classroom with clinical practice under mentorship and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. During this beginner level clinical experience, studetns will practice foundational elements of patient/client management in the clinical setting. Foundational elements include safety and risk management, professional behavior, adherence to legal and professional practice standards, communication, and basic clinical assessment and intervention.
