I am a Jamestown native and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Jamestown in 2001 (Psychology/Criminal Justice).  After college, I spent 10 years in the Bismarck/Mandan area before returning to Jamestown with my husband and kids.

 

I have a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Counseling. I am licensed in North Dakota as a Licensed Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have over 20 years of clinical experience working with youth, adults and families. I also have clinical supervision and administrative experience.

Description

Psychological disorders in children will be covered with emphasis on origin, diagnosis, treatment, and use of the DSM-5 in childhood psychological disorders. Introduction to the field of abnormal child and adolescent psychology, including the causes, maintenance, and treatment of children's behavioral, social-emotional, and cognitive disorders from a developmental perspective.
