Becky L DeGreeff

Dr. Becky L. DeGreeff completed her PhD in Communication Studies at North Dakota State University in 2010. She has taught a variety of Communication courses as an Assistant Professor at Upper Iowa University, an Assistant and Associate Professor at Kansas State University Polytechnic Campus, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. Her scholarly research interest includes interpersonal and family communication, spiritual communication, and autoethnography. Outside of academia she is a wife, mother, and E-RYT 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She loves spending as much time as possible outdoors with her family.

Description

Introduces students to the complex interaction of social and psychological forces that have an impact on human relationships. This course will introduce students to theoretical bases of interpersonal communication, as well as provide a focus on pragmatic skills for improved interpersonal communication competence.
