Hello, 

My name is Chelsea Modlin, and I am an adjunct instructor in the MCC program. In my full-time job, I work as a mental health therapist in a human service agency where we provide outpatient services to individuals with significant mental health and/or substance use diagnoses. I have five sons ages 17, 12, 8, 7, and 6 and I stay very busy with their activities that include many sports! We have two golden retrievers named Lola and Lucy and a bearded dragon named Trexx. When I have free time, I love to work in my flower garden and read. 

Description

Orientation and overview of the profession, history of the counseling profession, standards, and credentialing will be discussed. Professional roles and identity development will be explored.
