Description
Study and practice of the diverse forms and patterns English poetry employs, from Anglo-Saxon and ballad to concrete and spatial, with a portfolio of poems in a dozen forms due at semester's end. Other emphases may include free-form poetry or the forms found in foreign languages. May be repeated for credit with permission of the instructor. Prerequisite: Engl 102 or permission of instructor.
