Description
Materials examines the relationship between the structure of materials and the subsequent mechanical, electrical, optical, and thermal properties. Topics covered will also include bonding, atomic structure and arrangement, crystal structure, symmetry, and defects, phase equilibria, and microstructural development. Prerequisite: Chem 133.
