Biography

Elizabeth Hunt is a Professor and Director of Character in Leadership at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. Dr. Hunt holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MA in Mass Communication from NDSU, and a BA in English and History-Political Science from the University of Jamestown. Her research interests include sensemaking, organizational change and crisis communication, leadership communication, organizational culture and climate, servant leadership, and values and character education.

Description

This course meets weekly to determine, plan, and execute a community service project. Students will work together as a group to examine the needs within the local community and choose a work project that will benefit a particular organization or group of people within the community. Special attention will be given to documenting and reflecting on the group processes. Offered: Spring.
