This undergraduate course explores the often overlooked but crucial role of followership in organizational and group success. Students will delve into the reciprocal relationship between leaders and followers, understanding how effective followership complements leadership to achieve common goals. The course covers various followership theories and the impact of followership on culture and performance. Special emphasis will be given to exploring the moral, intellectual, and spiritual character of effective followers and the variables that create opportunities for toxic leadership.
