Term: 2023-2024 - SPRING

Faculty

Kris L Ramstad

Hello!

I have been a nurse for over 28 years in many areas of healthcare. From patient care to education and for the last 15 years in leadership. I have a Master's in Nursing and when I decided to continue with my education I decided to go outside of nursing and got a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership. I love leadership and believe in Servant Leadership, so I took this route to be able to share my knowledge and experiences with others regardless of what profession.

I am currently the Administrative Director of Medical/Surgical Services at a community hospital in Tennessee. I am married to a wonderful man, have 2 kids of my own and have 3 step-kids and 5 step-grandchildren. All of the kids are grown and are flourishing in their own pathways of life, so it is just me, my husband and Kirby our Aussie Doodle puppy.

I was born and raised in Minnesota but have lived in New York City, Phoenix, Florida and now Tennessee. This gives me many different experiences with people, culture, religion and just various personalities. I look forward to sharing these bits of knowledge and also learning from all of you.

I am available by appointments.
