Description

This course covers the biological bases of behavior including the neurophysiological correlates of behavior: learning, memory, emotion, hunger, and thirst. In addition to coverage of the gross anatomical characteristics of the nervous system and the structural and functional characteristics of neuronal and synaptic transmission, emphasis is placed on an overview of research techniques in neuropsychology. Prerequisites: Psyc 101 or Psyc 203. Offered: Spring, odd years
