Description
This course is an introduction to the profession of physical therapy (PT), including the elements of PT practice
and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Core Values. Students will be introduced to the
International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) model of functioning and disability and
the biopsychosocial model of health. This course will cover the requirements to participate in clinical
experiences and program professional behavior expectations.
