Description
Study of the genre from its origins to the present day. The student will be exposed to a substantial number of musical theater works and their creators through examination of librettos, scores, audio and visual recordings, and live performances. The student will also gain experience in the preparation and presentation of performance projects. Prerequisite: Thea 190 or permission of instructor.
