Description

Taken as part of a methods block, the course provides a 30-hour field experience. In their corequisite methods courses, candidates will design lesson plans that they will implement in the field with K-12 students. Lessons will be videoed and evaluated, and candidates will receive feedback from both program faculty and school-based mentors. Additionally, candidates will meet once per week to debrief, plan, explore topics related to the teaching profession, and complete a programmatic assessment. Prerequisites: Admission to teacher education; Departmental approval. Offered: Fall, Spring
