Description
This course presents in-depth instruction in motor control, motor learning, and neuroplasticity. The
pathophysiology, evaluation, and management of patients/clients with various neurologic diagnoses will be
covered. Students will develop a framework for evaluation of patients with neurologic conditions and apply
current evidence for intervention and management of conditions covered. Diagnoses covered in PT 941 and
PT 942 include stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,
vestibular disorders, amputation, and spinal cord injury.
