Description
This course presents in-depth instruction in the pathophysiology, evaluation, and management of
patients/clients with various diagnoses affecting functional mobility. Students will apply current evidence for
intervention and management of conditions covered. Strategies for interprofessional management in
evaluation, prescription, and application of assistive technologies will be presented. Diagnoses covered in PT
941 and PT 942 include stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral
sclerosis, vestibular disorders, amputation, and spinal cord injury.
